On behalf of the Committee on Continuing Education and Board of Regents of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, we invite you to join us in enriching your surgical excellence through education at the ACOMS 37th Annual Scientific Conference and Exhibition.
The speakers for this year’s conference are truly stand-out and will cover a wide variety of topics, focusing specifically on the smallest but sometimes most challenging patients we perform procedures on: The Growing Patient. In-depth pediatric training will address: anesthesia, pathology, reconstruction, implants, orthognathic surgery, esthetic surgery, and more. The internationally-recognized and diverse faculty has been meticulously selected based on surgical expertise and exceptional lecturing abilities.
What better a place to focus on The Growing Patient than in the beautiful, family-friendly city of San Juan, Puerto Rico? Our meeting schedule this year has been revised to allow ample time for outdoor adventures and relaxation on the beautiful sandy beaches of Puerto Rico. San Juan has a rich local history and variety of charming districts (beyond the architecturally-renowned Old San Juan).
Beyond being a gifted surgeon, respected teacher, and tireless mentor, Cesar Guerrero, DDS, has given many years of dedicated service to ACOMS, including serving as a Regent. To recognize his achievements as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon and to thank him for his service to the specialty and the College alike, ACOMS will award the W. Harry Archer Award to Dr. Guerrero in San Juan, and his presentation of the Kurt H. Thoma Memorial Lecture is sure to be remembered.
ACOMS is particularly excited to welcome members of the 37th Annual Conference’s partner societies, Asociación Latinoamericana de Cirugía y Traumatología Bucomaxilofacial (ALACIBU), and Sociedad Española de Cirugía Oral y Maxilofacial (SECOM), to this year’s meeting.
It is our pleasure to invite you to the ACOMS 37th Annual Scientific Conference and Exhibition, April 9-12, 2016 at the Ritz-Carlton, San Juan in Puerto Rico. We look forward to seeing you there!
