Giving back is the underlying theme in everything Dr. Pedro Franco does for his patients and community. In addition to giving his patients beautiful, healthy, functioning smiles, he also gives back to the community that supports him by providing dental services to local schools and serving as a mentor to students who wish to pursue a career in dentistry. He is also part-time faculty at Baylor College of Dentistry and has, for the past 21 years, traveled to Guatemala and other countries on mission trips to correct cleft lip and palate deformities for children with craniofacial syndromes.
In his private practice, Dr. Franco practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with emphasis in TMJ reconstructive surgery. He has special interest in performing facial cosmetic and orthognathic jaw surgery, as well as in placing dental implants. He is sought after for his expertise with same-day implants and the the All-on-4® treatment concept, an efficient and effective restoration using only four implants for mouth rehabilitation. He lectures internationally on the topics of facial reconstruction, dental implants,
temporomandibular joint and orthognathic surgery.
